Yellowstone National Park

I have a ton of pictures from Yellowstone, but this program makes it really hard to see which pictures you are choosing and wouldn't let me delete the ones I no longer wanted, so I apologize for some very similar and mediocre photos. Yellowstone was very bizzare, kind of like being on another planet. Everything was smoking and boiling, even the larger lakes. The only bad think was that it very children accessible so there were lots of kiddies running around everywhere.

Grand Teton National Park

e Pictures from the Tetons, WY. Beautiful!! The route Leah and I did a few pitches of was called "The Snazz." It was snazzy.

American Fork Utah - a Visit with Scott Daly

On our way from Maple Canyon to the Tetons we stopped over in Salt Lake City to visit and old friend Scott and his wife Sarah. They provided us with a meal not cooked on a camp stove and a shower which we badly needed. He also drove us up into American Fork Canyon just to check the place out b/c it was late evening by the time we arrived in Salt Lake. Very beautiful! I'd love to go back and stay awhile. Scott and Leah couldn't resist trying to boulder in their flipflops.

Too Good to Last

So, after 2 nearly perfect weeks on the road, Leah and I are currently in a 1960's HoJo in Utah after an aborted day of climbing in Idaho which included bad directions, swarming grasshoppers, a car stuck in the sand on a supposed "two wheel drive accessible dirt/sand road," cow paddies, and some damage to my car which I believe to be a puncture hole in my muffler. Notice the grasshoppers on my windshield. I'll post more about the fun in the Tetons and Yellowstone later!
