Local Sort-of-Wildlife

Our neighbor here in Blue Diamond owns two wolves who like to sit up on the hoods of his classic corvets in a very '70's black velvet painting' manner. I've heard that they are friendly, but haven't had the guts to test it out yet because, well, they're huge and eye you up like they'd like to have you for dinner. Just another reason why I love living out here:)

More Vacation

Here are more pictures from our trip to Folly Beach, SC and Charleston. Gotta love the cheezy pic of the whole fam.

Folly Beach, SC

Went on Vacation with the fam this past week to Folly Beach, SC and it was WONDERFUL! Much better than our usual beach destination, Myrtle. Don't have much time, but thought I'd post some pics. Folly Beach is a barrier island right outside of Charleston which is actually a super nice city. I am not a city person, but if I had to live in one, I think Charleston might be it. Great architecture and a lot of stuff to do.

Blue Diamond

I thought I'd start posting some more Blue Diamond Pictures so you all can see where we now live. I promise I will post pics of the house someday soon when I actually get everything as I'd like it. Until then, you can start to get a feel for our amazing mountainous surroundings and some of the (not so) wildlife. The burros are funny to watch and the dog is Diesel, aptly named because he's a hunk of muscle, but really he's a big baby. Although he does leave bruises on my arms when he play bites and tried to eat my camera. He's not mine, just babysitting. See all you Ohioans soon!!

Burros!

Hello! I am still alive and kickin', just wrapping up the school year and trying to visit Adam in Cedar City on weekends so haven't had much time for bloggin'. I have more pictures to post, but for now I'll just post some of our neighborhood wildlife, the burros. They wander into town every now and then and eat the grass and leaves. I think they're kinda cute. Remind me of Eeyore.
