Summer part 1

I started this post about a month ago and kept forgetting to post.  By now you probably know most of the stories so I'll stick with mostly pics.

Kim, Oscar and I stopped in Sedona on our way East.
Oscar seriously loves hotel beds.  It's funny because he wants nothing to do with them at home.
We found a beautiful slick-rock creek to play in outside of Sedona.  Oscar had so much fun!

Grand Canyon sunsets never get old.

Four Corners was not exactly what I expected.  It was about 110 degrees and they didn't allow dogs so I didn't wait in this ridiculous line.  And it cost $10 to get in there!!
Silverton, CO = old west amazingness.  If you've never been I'd highly recommend it!  Only one paved road and some terrifying mountain driving...in the summer.
Moose in Silverton
Outside of Silverton.

This place is great.  Table to farm restaurant (on the farm) near Mohican.  This was for Gina's bachelorette party.

They say that people look like their pets :)
Karen's garden never disappoints.

Wedding!  Man she's pretty :)
Adam jumped in when we needed him.  What a guy.

99% chance of thunderstorms.  Thank you weather gods for letting this happen!

After wedding pool time.

Spring Part 2

The major spring bloom has come to an end and below are some of my favorites (most are from our yard).  Some of the pics are a bit psychedelic in their coloring b/c they were taken with my old camera (Adam had our nice one in Greece) and something seems to be malfunctioning.  Pat and Karen you should take a look back through your pictures from your visit - I did and it's kind of neat to see the yard with and without the blooms.

This was out at Red Rock - alien flower??

Bird of Paradise (apparently one of many plants with that name)
Blooming creosote

Nice little natural arrangement.
We totally thought this guy was dead - but it actually grew some new paddles and had beautiful blooms!

Palo Verde in bloom

I have her a heck of a haircut.  Here's hoping it doesn't die!

Notice the hummingbird in the center of the pic.
Tiny nest

Babies!

Happy hiking partner!

Gratuitous Oscar shots.

He's an aggressive waker-upper.  His favorite thing is to sit on your head.
We had a visitor in our yard!  Oscar found him and was scared to death.  I hope that means he'll be scared of a snake too if he encounters one.
