Last weekend Abbie, Christi, Travis, and a few of Travis' friends who are actually acrobats/riggers from Venezuela, and I went out to Lake Mojave (Lake Mead, but on the other side of the dam) for what we thought was going to be a relaxing day at the beach. However, instead, we got a day spent with most of redneck NV and AZ on a beach of glass, trash and gasoline. We did finally find a little cove that was a bit less trashed (although there were still diapers on the beach) and managed to get the dogs there (see pics above) to salvage the day. At least to company was good!

looks beautiful even though it was dirty! I bet the dogs loved the water if the rocks were so hot!
Imagine the implications of a world without gasoline! Ahh well. We do what we can. At least you got to go for a dip. Just make sure you're up on your shots.
No joke about the shots. I was complaining about the fact that I had to get a tetanus shot a few weeks ago to go to grad school at UNLV, but I was kinda glad I had it.
