I'm not sure if I just never noticed, or the desert really hasn't bloomed like this since I've lived here, but Red Rock is absolutely amazing right now. Arrow and I took a trip out today and these are a few of the pictures which really don't do it complete justice.

Springtime in the Desert

Almost Over
So, I'm a pretty bad blogger. I've been really busy as usual with my 3 night classes along with my 12 hr teaching days. I'll be really interested to see what I end up teaching next year - it's about that time when schedules start materializing and I'm HOPING that this will be the year when I get to teach at least ONE class that I taught the year before. Cross your fingers. I've also been taking some trips to Prescott as Adam's now gone there to be a wildfire heli-rappeller for the summer - check out his crew's site here. I'm trying to start getting some plans together for the summer, so if you're interested in exploring the west coast (I'm open to suggestions) let me know. I'll be free from June 20th to July 15th - then home to Ohio for two weddings. Overall, I can't believe that this school year is almost over. I think there are only like 28 more days. Ok, so I'm pretty boring right now which is why I haven't posted lately. Until next time, I'll leave you with some old, but good pics. They are, Sedona Arizona, fly fishing in Rocky Mountain National Park - I was the only one who caught (an extremely small) fish, some old New River Gorge Pics - check out Adam's long hair!!

Hawaii!!
So I'm currently in Hawaii (Honolulu area) on spring break with my friend Jody. So far we've surfed in Waikiki, hung out at the beach at the North Shore, and gone to a luau (not worth the money). I don't really want to spend my time here on the computer so I'll post some pics for now and write more later. Aloha!

It's been a while
So of course I set out with ambitions of updating this frequently, but life has been hectic and well...I haven't. Things have been extremely busy - I'm taking 2 night classes along with writing for TIPS (targeted intervention for proficiency in science), and trying to have some sort of life (which isn't really happening). I did take this weekend off as my parents and sis came to visit. I'm off to Hawaii on Friday which will be a much deserved break. Adam's in Flagstaff (freezing) taking an EMT course so I'm currently trying to work ahead a little bit so I can spend some time with him when he gets home Wed. before leaving. I've attached some pics of the growing puppy (Arrow), and Gina and I at the Flamingo.

Aaahhh yeah, a little transcription and translation baby. So this is what I've been up to. Teaching this crap. Believe it or not, they like it because it's like a secret code. The got to 'decode' some DNA strands that coded for different monster traits - they turned out pretty good! Other than that, I went climbing/laying in the sun at the Black Corridor this past weekend and might go climbing in St. George this weekend if the weather holds out. Adam and I are going out to somewhere (he won't tell me) for Valentine's Day and his birthday tomorrow so that should be fun - have class on actual V-Day so we're going out early.
Have a wonder Valentine's Day!!!!!!!!! Love you all!!!

Good 'Ol Days
First Pic: Grandma and Anne; Second Pic: Grandma and Grandpa Frank; Third Pic: Ted on a tractor?! ; Forth Pic: Grandma and Grandpa Frank on their wedding day; Fifth Pic: Grandma and Anne on Anne's First Communion Day.
I scanned these old pictures of my mom's side of the family for my Grandma's 95th Birthday party this past summer and think they're really cool so I thought I'd post 'em. Not much going on here. Went climbing at Cannibal boulder yesterday. Sent a 5.8 and hung on a 5.9 - woo hoo - for those of you not familiar with climbing grades - that's bad. I'm pretty pumped about all of the visitors coming to visit these next couple of months - Ted and Bob, Dan, Mom, Dad and Gina, Leah, and Keith (did I forget anyone?) - then off to Hawaii for spring break! Yeah! Well, that's all for now.
